allow me to introduce myself...

Maria Rottinger Massage Vermont

Greetings, and welcome! My name is Maria Rottinger. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I found my way to Vermont, and to massage therapy, following a pandemic-inspired quarter life crisis. After several years of critical care travel nursing, I found myself working in NYC in the spring of 2020, when the trajectory of my life dramatically changed. What ensued was a healing journey set in motion by curiosity and a desire to manage anxiety & chronic pain.

After completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in the spring of 2021, I seemed to become a professional bodyworker almost by accident; enrolling in massage school was simply another step along my path to learn more about myself and holistic health. This ever-evolving journey has allowed me to discover and learn many tools, through both personal research and professional training, and it continues to this day.

Outside of the massage room, you might find me playing outside,  trying a new recipe, or cuddling my 3 adorable cats while reading about astrology.

I am honored that you’re here. I hope to share what I’ve learned with you, and I look forward to meeting you.

For a full list of my professional training and education, please reference my public disclosure document here.

“Embodiment is the conscious knowing of and living as a body, not as a thing distinct from the self or the mind… It is to be present to yourself and your experience from the inside out.”
